Semiconductor manufacturer Elmos performed better than expected in the third quarter thanks to continued high demand.
Sales increased by 27 percent to almost 152 million euros, the SDAX-listed company announced in Dortmund on Wednesday. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) increased by 40 percent to around 42 million euros. Sales and earnings were therefore above the average forecast of the experts surveyed by the Bloomberg news agency. Elmos boss Arne Schneider also confirmed the forecast for the current year.
The Elmos Semiconductor share was temporarily 3.22 percent higher at 73.80 euros in XETRA trading.
