Driving on the side
The third stage was a tough ride due to the strong wind. Due to the formation of fans, the peloton crumbled, and as a result quickly fell apart into three large groups. Reinders was alert throughout the race, so that his position at the top of the standings was not jeopardized. The bunch sprint was full against the wind and Reinders showed that he was in top form today.
