Ellen Pompeo, Meredith Gray in the series, announced via an emotional message on Instagram that she would not return after the nineteenth season – which can now be seen in the US and on Disney +. “I am eternally grateful and humbled for all the love and support you have given me, Meredith Gray and the show over 19 seasons,” she wrote. “None of this would have been possible without the best fans in the world. You guys made this ride so fun and iconic.”
