They confirmed to us on Monday that the two are now officially a couple. And that also casts a different look at tonight’s episode of ‘De Allerslimste Mens’. In it they can be seen together. Ella as a candidate. Rick as a jury member. That they like it very well, was also apparent from the announcing videos. They already found that humor together at production house Woestijnvis. Rik has been working there for many years as an actor and creative collaborator. Ella has been visiting for two years, first as a sidekick in ‘De Ideale Wereld’ with Jan Jaap van der Wal, later also as an actress in the ‘DIW’ films, and now also as a presenter.

Until now, neither of them had a turbulent love life. Ella broke up with StuBru DJ Faisal Chaitar in 2019, Rik was previously with Ella-June Henrard. The two do not want to say much about their relationship for the time being, but in Lapland for ‘Sergio Over De Grens’ Ella was straight forward. “I’m looking for a male version of myself,” it sounded there. “That feeling has always been there. You can stress about it, but it won’t help. Maybe I’m too busy looking for someone who is everything. Friends also tell me that what I want is really otherworldly.”

Maybe Rik is that alien, because Ella checks off all his wishes. “Women have to radiate something,” it sounded recently. “A kind of guile. And humor is the most important thing.”
