The funeral was held on April 17 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. In accordance with the corona restrictions, only 30 guests were invited to the event. Elisabet and Philip’s children and grandchildren and their spouses were present.
Prince Harry traveled to the funeral from the US, but his wife Duchess Meghan stayed home. At that time, it was reported that the doctor did not recommend a long flight for the pregnant Meghan. Meghan reportedly didn’t want to be there either, so that on the day of the funeral, attention wouldn’t be drawn to her.
