Heroes Festival 2022

The third edition of Heroes was dedicated to the theme of sustainability. To talk about this topic, Elisa (artistic director) and the whole team of Music Innovation Hub have decided to give the public a virtuous example. The proof, in short, that It is possible to achieve great things, but always respecting our Earth.

On the occasion of this five days of eventsa real one has been drawn up protocol for creating sustainable eventsmade available to live agencies and entertainment operators.

All Heroes Festival activities have seen the artistic direction of Elisa who was also the protagonist of three memorable concerts at the Verona Arena (dates have anticipated his tour Back to the Future).

The show (with 38 elements on stageincluding musicians of the band, choristers and orchestras) is a real one celebration of the artistic career of Elisaamong the protagonists of the last Sanremo Festival with Or maybe it’s you.

From the songs of the last project Back to the Future / Back to the Future at timeless hit of the past, the Verona Arena wanted to be alongside the songwriter in these special events. Which they made pop the theme of sustainable development.

There is no doubt that respect for the environment and its protection are among the hottest topics of the moment.

As often happens, however, the approach of many towards these topics risks becoming a flag to wear, to expand its popularity. And to position themselves among those who present one more reason to be loved.

Elisa, however, has a privilege. Which is that of the credibility. Just as her curiosity towards everything that is apparently distant from her on a musical level is transforming (especially in recent years) into an opportunity for discoveries and growth that have nothing to do with a frantic attempt not to be overwhelmed by the new trends of the moment, in the same way its attention to the environment has deep roots.

Which have to do with hers childhood. With the magic of his first steps, in the woods of his Friuli.

Like this, Elisa’s commitment to sustainability escapes any nod to fashion and becomes an opportunity to share with everyone.

His audience, accustomed to the poetry of his voice, has also come to know the origin of his passion. That it has to do deeply with nature. And with the artist’s need to embrace it and feel it close, as part of himself.

With the three concerts at the Arena and the five-day Festival Elisa has transformed her personal relationship with the environment into sharing a personal but also universal vocation. A call, in fact. Not to close your eyes. And to make Earth’s cry for help their own.

The numbers of the Festival

The city of Verona itself has seen the effects who can guarantee this respectful and loving attitude. In fact, in five days of the festival they took place 6 reading, 13 talk environment-themed, 18 activities (including workshops, wellness and initiatives for children), art installations, rafting and yoga courses, 2 film screenings And 18 between concerts and night DJ sets.

All with the minimum possible environmental impact. And enhancing hidden places (first of all, the magnificent Palazzo della Dogananerve center of the Green Villagein the Filippini district) e an often overlooked sense of community.

And the Green Village hosted, in five days, about 10 thousand peopleattracted by the names involved and the activities.

A fundraising for the project Music for The Planet (for the planting of the trees in all the places touched by Elisa’s tour) then reached the figure of 80 thousand euros.

The presence of Enit: “New steps towards building a future”

Speaking of which, Heroes 2022 is also involved in the‘Italian National Tourism AgencyEnit, who has signed a partnership with Elisa’s tour (which will see a much “lighter” production than those usually used in tours).

The dates will become a story in stages and in music of the Italian territories with dedicated clipswith the aim of promote Italian tourism in the world.
