Walloon Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo (PS) showed himself optimistic about the future of the region in Namur on Saturday on the occasion of the ‘Fêtes de Wallonie’, the festival of the Walloon region, despite some disastrous economic indicators. Di Rupo pointed to the resilience of Wallonia, which is struggling with the financial consequences of natural disasters, the war in Europe and the economic crisis.
