Eline Jongsma’s great-grandfather was an NSB mayor. For Kamp Westerbork she made a documentary about this hidden family history

It has been about ten years since Eline Jongsma (42) sat at the kitchen table with her father. There she heard, almost through her lips, that her great-grandfather was a member of the NSB during the Second World War. His name was Gerrit Jongsma and he held a mayor’s post in Krommenie, a small town in North Holland.
