Joris Nieuwenhuis took the holeshot and got Eli Iserbyt in the wheel. The Dutch and Belgian champions entered the second round with a 22-second lead over Lars van der Haar, Michael Vanthourenhout, Ryan Kamp, Daan Soete, Toon Vandebosch, Niels Vandeputte and Toon Aerts. Vanthourenhout counterattacked alone and was able to cross in front after 23 minutes. At the passage on the sloping side, Vanthourenhout accelerated. Nieuwenhuis had to work hard to close the gap.
Iserbyt should have lost a few meters after a few mistakes, but drove back to his teammate. The duo started the penultimate lap with a five-second lead over Nieuwenhuis. Vanthourenhout got stuck in the barrier and Iserbyt was able to start the final lap alone. Nieuwenhuis lost more and more ground, while Toon Aerts had beaten Toon Vandebosch for fourth place.
