Five riders created separation on a fairly passable course. Iserbyt, Ryan Kamp, Cameron Mason, Tim Merlier and Jente Michels. Joran Wyseure, the silver medalist from Meulebeke, led the chasers.
Iserbyt was able to break away from the others in the final laps. He was already assured of victory in the last round. Michels seemed to take second place, but Cameron Mason snatched it away.
In the women’s race, Marion Norbert-Riberolle won, just like last year. Belgian champion Sanne Cant came second.
