Status: 04/24/2023 1:11 p.m

The eleventh and so far shortest game of the World Chess Championship between grandmasters Jan Nepomniachtchi and Ding Liren ended in another draw.

Thus, the Russian continues to lead the duel with the Chinese by one point (6.0:5.0). 7.5 points are required for overall victory. The two determine the successor to the Norwegian Magnus Carlsen at the World Cup in Astana/Kazakhstan.

Chess has been booming for years, but the world association FIDE is feeling the lack of attention at the current World Chess Championship without superstar Magnus Carlsen.
