Eleventh edition Kamping Kitch Club clocks in at 25 500 visitors
Typical of Kamping Kitsch Club: if you are not dressed up, you will not enter. De Lange Munte in Kortrijk was visited by thousands of crazy festival-goers. Swimming armbands, marcellekes, fishnet stockings, fake mustaches, tiger prints and tutus were all present at Kamping Kitsch Club’s Booster XXL Edition. This year’s theme: just being yourself.
The festival thus gathered 25,500 revelers. The eleventh edition of the festival gathered just under a hundred artists, spread over nine stages. Ilsen & Verhust, Sergio, Mark with a K, Average Rob and even Kabouter Plop, among others, were part of the extensive, ‘wrong’ line up.
Marriage proposal
Revelers from neighboring countries also came to Kortrijk to experience the festival. This also applies to Stephanie and Christophe, who provided a striking moment: they chose to say yes in the presence of a few thousand frenzied festival-goers.
