This reports Newspaper of the North. The animals are currently in René Perdok’s animal shelter in Borgsweer. “I estimate the youngest was a few days old when he was found. The oldest would have been 10 days old,” he told the newspaper.
The eight pigeons that survived are currently in an incubator. According to Perdok, they were hypothermic and had fly eggs everywhere. The pigeons are eventually transferred to a pigeon fancier. “They can fly and be a pigeon there.”
