Electric shared bicycles from Bolt in Groningen have an alcohol lock. Anyone who has had too much to drink must leave the bicycle after the reaction test

“At expected times when many people in the city of Groningen have a drink, we ask for a reaction test,” says Welmoed Neijmeijer of Bolt Benelux. “Only users who have sufficient responsiveness are allowed to unlock a bicycle.” Experience has already been gained in Enschede from Thursday to Sunday. “We want to avoid as many accidents as possible.”
