All polling stations in the Netherlands have been open since half past seven on Wednesday morning for the House of Representatives elections. More than 13.3 million eligible voters aged 18 and older are allowed to cast their votes. At nine o’clock tonight the voting locations close and the polls open to count the votes. The turnout was 50 percent at six o’clock tonight. That is slightly lower than in 2017. In 2021, people were able to vote for three days due to corona.
