Yolanda Díaz confirms that she will campaign in territories where the continuity of left-wing governments is at risk. This is the case of the Valencian Community, where she will go to support the Podemos candidate, Hector Illuecaas announced by El Periódico de España, from the Prensa Ibérica group, with the aim of ensuring its entry into the Cortes and allowing a new executive of Ximo Puig.

The second vice president and leader of Sumar has assured that “it will help & rdquor; in the squares where the numbers are not insured, also confirming their presence in Valencia. “Sumar is not running in the elections, but it is going to help in all possible places to guarantee progressive governments,” he assured in statements in Al Rojo Vivo, where he called for voters to mobilize and “take themselves very seriously”; the elections on May 28.

The Galician has also confirmed that she is going to do “multitude of public events & rdquor ;, and he has insisted that “everything we can contribute from Sumar so that no progressive government falls, we are going to do it & rdquor ;. In this sense, he has advanced that his complete campaign agenda will be known this Friday, which is being finalized in the last hours.

In addition to the Valencian Community, Díaz will also be in Madrid, where Podemos is also on the edge of the 5% electoral barrier, without having its entry into the Madrid Assembly guaranteed. The leader has exhibited great harmony with Mónica García, leader of Más Madrid, but he could campaign for Podemos to try to mobilize some votes to ensure his institutional presence.

This decision represents a change of script with respect to what has been defended in recent months, where Yolanda Díaz’s team only assured that it would be in those places where there were broad leftist agreements. It also arrives after strong pressure from the leadership of Podemos so that he campaigned for his candidates, and after he sent him a formal written request to go to the most difficult places, as this medium also advanced.
