The second day of early voting has arrived. Limburgers can vote for the municipal elections in their own municipality on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

07:30 am – Polling stations for early voting open
At about this time, polling stations will open for the second day in a row where early voting for municipal elections can take place. This is possible in all municipalities, but not in all polling stations. Most of them don’t open until Wednesday, the ‘real’ election day.
Early voting on Mondays and Tuesdays has been made possible due to corona. People in fragile health can choose to vote on one of these days, because they are much quieter than Wednesday.
06:29 AM – Second day early voting for municipal elections
It is the second day on which people can vote in the municipal elections. On Tuesday, voters from 334 municipalities can go to about 1,700 polling stations.
On Monday it was also possible to vote early in about 1700 places. To promote the spread of voters, the polling stations are open for three days. Most polling stations are open on Wednesday, about 8,800, and most people are expected to vote as well.
