Elderly man robbed at home: second suspect arrested

The police have arrested a second suspect for the robbery of an elderly man from Eindhoven. It concerns a 47-year-old Eindhovener. The first suspect was arrested a week earlier shortly after the robbery.

On Wednesday evening 9 February, an elderly man was robbed at his house on the Antwerpenlaan in Eindhoven. He was surprised by two men who pushed him to the ground. The two robbers then ransacked his house and fled with his car and some other belongings. His car was later found.

The victim was not injured, but was shaken, according to police. The police quickly arrived on the scene and managed to arrest the first suspect, a 39-year-old resident of Eindhoven. Police are still looking for the second man. He was arrested this week and will be presented to the examining magistrate on Friday.
