An 86-year-old man was robbed of his wallet in Emmen last Friday. The man was walking across the Rolderbrink with his walker when he was approached by the suspect.
He allegedly asked him if he had a euro. The elderly man said he had and reached for his wallet, when the suspect then grabbed the wallet. The victim fell and was injured. The thief ran away. It is not clear how much money he took with him.
The police do not know who the suspect is and where he fled to. Witnesses are asked to come forward.
