Eintracht Frankfurt: Positive trend at Knauff – Kamada prefers abroad

Reports on Frankfurt personal details

One could stay, the other go for what had already become apparent. Eintracht Frankfurt can, according to the “Picture” possibly rely on the services of Ansgar Knauff in the coming season. The winger has been on loan from Borussia Dortmund since January 2022 until the summer but is unlikely to return to BVB to fulfill his contract, which runs until 2024.

The SGE around sports director Markus Krösche would like to commit the 21-year-old. The manager should have justified hopes because the black and yellow were allegedly unable to show their currently awarded professional Knauff a sufficient perspective in a conversation. In view of the great competition, the right foot would have a hard time making many appearances in the Dortmund team.

Unlike in Frankfurt, where Knauff has played 47 times since arriving, contributing four goals and five assists. According to reports, Eintracht would have to pay around 5 million euros, which is half of its current market value. Clubs from abroad such as England should also show interest in Knauff. However, the trend speaks for a permanent change to the Hessians.

Kamada leaves Eintracht Frankfurt: abroad instead of BVB?

The Japanese international Daichi Kamada, on the other hand, will leave Frankfurt this summer. Both reported that sky as well as the “image” and “Sport1”. According to “Sky”, the 26-year-old informed those responsible at the club before Easter that he would not be extending his expiring contract. Kamada leaves on a free transfer.

It had been assumed that he would probably be drawn to Borussia Dortmund. The “Picture” according to him, this is now unrealistic. Rather, Kamada should prefer a move abroad. Most recently, the top Spanish clubs Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona were brought into play as interested parties. Kamada came to Main in 2017 for a transfer fee of 1.6 million euros from Japanese J-League representative Sagan Tosu. His market value is around 30 million euros and is only surpassed by Randal Kolo Muani and Evan Ndicka at the SBU. “It’s the case with Daichi that he will probably leave us,” said Krösche recently in the “Aktuelles Sportstudio” of “ZDF”.
