Italy’s first division club SSC Napoli is undeterred in Serie A for the first championship in 33 years.
The team coached by Luciano Spalletti, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Champions League round of 16 opponents, celebrated their sixth league win in a row with a 3-0 (1-0) win over US Cremonese and has their eyes on the third Scudetto in the club’s history.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (22nd), Victor Osimhen (65th) and Eljif Elmas (79th) scored the goals for the Neapolitans, who initially extended their lead over pursuers Inter Milan to 16 (!) points.
Inter is still required on Monday (8:45 p.m. / DAZN) for relegation candidate Sampdoria Genoa.
Juventus free themselves
Record champions Juventus Turin, in the middle of the table, celebrated their second win in a row with a 1-0 (1-0) win over AC Fiorentina.
Before the first of two duels with Eintracht, Napoli will face US Sassuolo Calcio next Friday in the league.
On February 21, the first leg in the fight for the quarter-finals of the premier class will take place in Hesse. The second leg in Italy will take place on March 15th.
