Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently thinking about increasing its sporting management level. According to Italian media reports, the Hessians are already negotiating a collaboration with ex-professional Igli Tare.
The Frankfurt Eintracht have some exciting days ahead. The upcoming Bundesliga game against SpVgg Fürth is nothing more than an appetizer, because just a few days later the European Cup cracker against FC Barcelona awaits the Hessians.
In the quarter-finals of the Europa League, the Catalans compete on Thursday (April 7th from 8:15 p.m. live on RTL) first in Frankfurt before the return leg at the Camp Nou takes place a week later.
While for many fans there is hardly anything else on the agenda than the games against Barcelona, extensive planning is already underway at the highest level in the Adler’s executive suite. At least that’s what the Italian media say.
The portal “tuttomercatoweb” reported this week that the SGE is one of many clubs trying to sign Lazio sports director Igli Tare. The contract of the 48-year-old ex-professional only expires in the summer of 2023, but club boss Claudio Lotito is reportedly already thinking about changes and is aiming for a separation.
Tare is said to have already received the appropriate signals and has therefore already had talks with some clubs – including Eintracht Frankfurt. According to the report, the Hessians even have the best chances in the struggle for the sports director.
Tare was already associated with Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2021. At that time, the former Bundesliga professional was traded as the successor to Fredi Bobic. Ultimately, however, the Hessians chose Markus Krösche. How his role will change in the event of a Tare commitment is not known.
