Eintracht Frankfurt: Junior Dina Ebimbe is out for the time being

Use against Bayer 04 questionable

Eintracht Frankfurt may have to do without its versatile professional Junior Dina Ebimbe in the end of the year. The 23-year-old injured his ankle in the 2-0 defeat in Aberdeen on Thursday evening and is in danger of being out. The offensive player suffered a sprain on the sole of his left foot. The club announced on Friday that a game against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday was questionable.

A failure by the Frenchman would be very painful for the Hessians. In the 5-1 win over FC Bayern, Dina Ebimbe excelled as a double goalscorer. However, things look better for Kevin Trapp. The national goalkeeper was also substituted early in Aberdeen due to back pain. He’s feeling better again. Nothing should stand in the way of use.

Farès Chaibi, who was ill at short notice and missed the game in Aberdeen, could replace the suspended Omar Marmoush in the center of the attack. “He doesn’t look like he’s in full swing yet, but if he feels good, he’ll be in the starting line-up,” said coach Dino Toppmöller.
