Only moved to Eintracht Frankfurt for free last summer as a bargain, Omar Marmoush could apparently leave the Bundesliga club after just one season.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s life insurance company Omar Marmoush has called on several financially strong clubs from the English Premier League. This is what “Bild” reports. It is said that interested parties could get serious in the coming weeks and months and tackle a transfer in the summer.
Specifically, the 25-year-old should be on the list at Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.
Marmoush would probably not be averse to a move to what is probably the strongest league in the world; playing in England is a big dream for the Egyptian, the report also says. However, the attacker has settled in well at Eintracht Frankfurt and is particularly happy with the collaboration with his head coach Dino Toppmöller.

Omar Marmoush moved to Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg at a young age in the summer of 2017 and made his debut in the Bundesliga in the 2019/20 season. A year later he moved to second division club FC St. Pauli on loan for six months, followed the following year by a loan spell at VfB Stuttgart. After a mixed year with the Wolves, he finally moved to Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in the summer of 2023, where he finally made his breakthrough under Toppmöller.
He has scored 15 goals in 30 competitive games so far, ten in the Bundesliga alone. He scored in the last three games for the Eagles in the league.
According to “Bild”, whether a farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt is an option in the summer after just one year depends primarily on the Hessians’ sporting performance. If the SGE fails to qualify for a European competition, a sale could be on the cards. Then there is supposedly a transfer fee of 30 to 40 million euros.
