One of the most important games in the club’s recent history is coming up next Wednesday for Eintracht Frankfurt: the Europa League final against Glasgow. And the people of Frankfurt have come up with something special for this.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s head coach Oliver Glasner remains true to his methods and has the final training session in Frankfurt before the Europa League final. The team will train at home on Tuesday at 11.30 a.m. and will hold the press conference before the final in Seville at 7.15 p.m., a club spokesman said on Sunday. The final against Glasgow Rangers is on Wednesday in Seville.
Even before the duels with FC Barcelona and West Ham United, Glasner had trained in Frankfurt before traveling the day before the game. When asked why the team didn’t complete the last training session in the final stadium, Glasner answered somewhat smugly: “We found out. It’s green grass, 105 by 68 meters. The goals are 7.32 by 2.44 meters – that’s it nothing like usual.”
