According to media reports, former Bundesliga coach Adi Hütter is facing a commitment to AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1.
The 53-year-old Austrian should be presented as the successor to the Belgian Philippe Clement at the Monegasque after the last details have been clarified, reported the French sports daily “L’Équipe” at the weekend.
Monaco parted ways with Clement after missing out on the European Cup last season.
Hütter trained Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga from 2018 to 2021. After a mediocre season, Borussia Mönchengladbach separated from Hütter in May 2022.
At Monaco, long-time Leverkusen player Kevin Volland and ex-Cologne player Ismail Jakobs are in the squad, most recently goalkeeper Alexander Nübel was loaned from FC Bayern to the club from the Principality.
