Geraldine Reuteler will remain with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the season.
The Swiss international has extended her expiring contract with the Hessians by two years until the summer of 2026, as the club announced on Tuesday.
“It’s not only good for one or two goals, but also always for assists, and it’s hard to imagine our offensive game without it as an anchor point,” said Katharina Kiel, women’s technical director at the SGE.
Coach Niko Arnautis praised Reuteler as a “very versatile player who understands the game in different positions and is always dangerous for our opponents.”
The offensive player moved from FC Luzern to Frankfurt (then 1. FFC) in the summer of 2018 as a top talent. She has scored 30 goals in 113 competitive games since then.
