Shortly before the end of the transfer deadline, Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt apparently signed striker Hugo Ekitike from French champions Paris Saint-Germain on loan.
As the French sports newspaper “L’Equipe” and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano report, the deal also includes a purchase option in the summer, which should be around 30 million euros. There is no official confirmation from the clubs yet.
Ekitike was already an issue for the Hessians in the summer when Randal Kolo Muani moved to PSG at short notice. The 21-year-old Frenchman is under contract in Paris until 2027, but has hardly been used this season. In the league, Ekitike was only used on the first matchday and recently he was no longer in the squad.
