While the Bundesliga soccer team currently wants to pay around 15 to 18 million euros, the Ligue 1 club is still “far above” with its demands, it is said. An agreement is therefore not yet possible.
However, there seems to be agreement on the basic transfer process. The attacker will initially be loaned out until the summer. Ekitike reportedly wants to go to Eintracht Frankfurt

A commitment from Ekitike was reportedly discussed in return, but could not be realized.
