Bad news from Cologne. Eintracht announced that a trailer had to be “transported away by ambulance”.
An Eintracht Frankfurt fan fell out of the upper tier of the guest block during the Bundesliga encounter against 1. FC Köln (4:3). The SGE confirmed this after the game. The person was “transported away by ambulance,” and the association initially did not provide any further information about his or her health.
Before the end of the game, the Cologne stadium announcer announced that there was a medical emergency. In addition, Eintracht’s annex stopped providing support in the final phase.
The SGE won thanks to goals from Arthur Theate (39th), Mahmoud Dahoud (45th + 6th) and Jonathan Burkardt (60th, 63rd) in Cologne. Jakub Kaminski (4th), Marius Bülter (83rd) and Luca Waldschmidt (90th + 4th) scored the goals for the promoted team.
