For more game practice
Eintracht Braunschweig has extended the contract with goalkeeper Yannik Bangsow and will hand the 24-year-old over to regional league team Alemannia Aachen in the coming season. The Lower Saxony announced this on Wednesday. The new working paper of the native Berliner is now valid until 2024. For Bangsow it is his second loan after 2020/21 when he stood between the posts for Viktoria Köln. So far he has kept the goal four times for the Braunschweig pros.
“Yannik has developed well over the past few months. For a young goalkeeper like him, however, it’s important that he gets match practice. That’s why we decided together with him that a loan to Aachen makes sense,” said Sporting Director Peter Vollmann. Bangsow added: “I am very happy about Eintracht’s great and appreciative extension offer, which I gladly accepted. Eintracht’s plans with me coincide exactly with my goals, and the loan to Alemannia Aachen is an important part of this. The conditions in Aachen are very professional and I would like to gain match practice at Alemannia in the coming months.”
Good luck at Alemannia, Yannik!
