Swedish rapper Einar was assassinated last October, but still no one has been arrested in connection with the murder. Police have a strong suspicion that the murder was linked to a gang showdown, but finding the perpetrators has been difficult.
Einár was one of Sweden’s most streamed artists, and his career was just beginning.
Einár released new music last night that he had time to make before his death.
The EP has four songs: Lilla Nisse, Annan värld, Koppla av and Kolla mig.
At the same time, a new music video was released.
Einár, 19, was shot dead on October 21 last year. No one has been caught in connection with the shooting and there is no certainty about the motive. One reason is considered to be the war between the gangs, but experts say it is possible that there is no unequivocal motive for the murder.
Police have described the death as an execution. Einár, 19, was leaving a bicycle depot in Hammarby Sjöstad with two Dödspatrullen gangs after being shot several times.
The case is being investigated as murder.
