The SSV Ulm 1846 has strengthened with right -back Max Scholze from FC Bayern II after relegation from the 2nd Bundesliga. The 20-year-old is eighth newcomer and receives a two-year contract with the Spatzen. Scholze was initially trained at Dynamo Dresden until 2019 before moving to the youngsters of the German record champion. In the summer of 2024, the right-footed base went to SC Verl and collected six third division missions over 131 minutes, but returned to FCB at the beginning of the year. Furthermore, there are 40 games in the regional league Bayern and ten encounters in the UEFA Youth League.
Ulm’s managing director Markus Thiele said: “We are pleased to welcome Max Scholze in Ulm. He is a well -trained, capable of developing players who, despite his young age, has already gained valuable experiences at a high level. The fact that another player with great potential has deliberately decided on the sparrows is a strong sign.” Scholze said: “I am very much looking forward to the attractive task of the sparrows. The conversations with the responsible goods from the start very positive, and I have the feeling that I can develop in terms of sport and personally in a great environment. I will work hard to contribute to my part to success.”
