In Eindhoven, a total of eight people were arrested on Thursday during disturbances in the city surrounding the quarterfinals of PSV against Leicester City. The ME had to charge in the evening to keep the peace.
“The de-escalating action of the riot police allowed the groups to be separated and larger disturbances prevented,” said the police, who further speak of a “generally friendly” atmosphere during the duel.
