Eight injured in collision on Oktoberfest rollercoaster in Munich | Abroad

On Saturday around 10:15 p.m., two rollercoaster wagons collided at the fair. Emergency services treated eight injured people on site. Two of them were taken to hospital.

The accident happened on the ‘Höllenblitz’ attraction, which according to the operator is the largest mobile indoor rollercoaster in the world.

The Bavarian capital is expecting around six million visitors for the annual beer festivals from now until October 3. A third of this will come from abroad, especially from Asia.
