Efteling will soon be 70 years old and to celebrate this, the amusement park will make exclusive table linen sets together with the Textile Museum in Tilburg. Fans should be quick as only 150 will be made. The set includes a tablecloth, a table runner, two napkins and a tea towel in three colours. What exactly will be on it remains a mystery.
Tim Hinssen is an Efteling fan. He makes a podcast about the Efteling every week. He is therefore certainly enthusiastic about this exclusive souvenir line that the Efteling will be releasing.
“I really like a unique and mature special. There are already many souvenirs for children, but this is really for the older fans,” he says. Hinssen also thinks the collaboration between the two companies is very nice to see. “The Efteling is of course a real household name within Brabant, but so is the Textile Museum. That combination is very nice,” he says.
A complete set will cost 265 euros. Hinssen thinks that the table linen sets are on the expensive side and that only a limited number are made. “Something for real Efteling enthusiasts.”
What exactly will be written on this canvas is still being kept a secret. But if you walk into the Textile Museum in the coming months, you may be able to catch a glimpse of its production.
