Finnish success was achieved in the Junior World Ski Championships in Canada late on Saturday Finnish time, when Eevi-Inkeri Tossavainen won the traditional sprint gold in the under-20 category.

The second place was taken by a Norwegian Milla Grosberghaugen Andreassen and thirdly a Swede Lisa Eriksson.

Finland in the men’s series Eero Rantala bagged the bronze medal. Brighter medals fell into the arms of the Swedes: Anton Grahn won the world championship and his countryman came in second place Elias Danielsson.
