21-year-old Mike Eerdhuijzen made his debut for FC Volendam in April 2019 in the lost home game against NEC (2-3). De Volendammer could never count on a fixed base place. Also this season under Wim Jonk he was only allowed to start at the first whistle five times and more often he had to make do with substitutions (twelve times). He made his only goal a few weeks ago in the Fisherman’s Derby against Telstar.

It is nice for FC Volendam that Eerdhuijzen only leaves at the end of the season. The leader of the first division also saw full-back Denso Kasius leave for the Italian Bologna yesterday. Earlier this month, Eerdhuijzen hinted after his goal against Telstar that he would like to finish the season in Volendam.
