Kurhela, who made his professional debut last year, kicked the Brazilian From Paulo Oliveira underfoot in the second main event of the Cage 57 night. Low kicks ended the match already in the first set, when the brass couldn’t continue the match.
The coach who was in Kurhela’s corner Mikael Silander shouted before the decision that “the next kick ends the match”.
– I heard it. “Mikki” was a little bit annoyed that I didn’t go on so aggressively, but calmly waited for a place. I hit the nerve pathways on the outside of my leg. It feels pretty boring when you get there.
– In the last match, I used the same kicks against a mat wrestler, because there is a very small risk in them.
Kurhela is undefeated in professional circles. The win column shows five after Saturday.
