Edwin Slijkhuis came first in the ArtemisRun over 10,000 meters. The athlete from Zuidhorn covered this distance in 33.13 minutes.
Ben Stellingwerf (Bedum) was second at 1.20 minutes, the bronze was for Gerko Floor (Meerstad). He lost 2.35 minutes to the winner. Christien Koning from Groningen was the fastest woman in 42.34 minutes, with Aniek Steenhuisen (Assen) second at 3.32 minutes.
Draaijer wins Beiler King’s Run
The 10 kilometers of the Beiler Koningsloop was won in 35.22 minutes by Ruben Draaijer from Assen. Mark de Leeuw (Ruinerwold) ran to second place, finishing 2.26 minutes later. Henriëtte Pepels was the fastest woman in 43.24 minutes for her own audience.
The men’s half distance was won in 16.58 minutes by Jelmer Rensing (Wijster). Home favorite Suze van Driel was the first woman to cross the finish line, she had been on the road for 18.12 minutes.
Laura Prins fastest in Hasselt
There was also a King’s Run in Hasselt. Laura Prins (Hoogeveen) wrote this to her name. Her winning time over 10,000 meters was 37.23 minutes. Annewil Schreuder (Veendam) was second, her finish time was 37.46 minutes.
