Edson da Graça has been added to the RTL presenter team. The 40-year-old presenter has signed a contract for two years, the channel group announced today.
It was previously announced that Da Graça will be in Holland’s Got Talent sits as a juror. From September 16, he can also be seen as the host of the Videoland program Matched By Mom.
At RTL, Da Graça gets the opportunity to develop further. “After working for several broadcasters and stations for a number of years, this feels like the right direction,” he says. ,,RTL sees my versatility and that ensures that I can lose everything here. Of Dutch Got Talent as a start it really is a dream come true.”
Peter van der Vorst, director of Content RTL, was impressed by Da Graça last year when he saw him at work at an event. “From that moment on, we started talking to each other. As a stand-up comedian, he’s used to improvising and making people laugh, but he also has what it takes to tell serious and socially engaged stories,” he says. According to Van der Vorst, this makes him ‘widely deployable and a valuable addition to our team of makers’.
Da Graça made at the public broadcaster, among other things: All of Holland Bakes Kids and Festival of Love. He previously presented the children’s programs Willem Weaver and Just naked.
