Edsilia does not want to ‘just drop Glennis’: ‘We don’t know what exactly happened’ | gossip

“We don’t know the whole story either,” Edsilia told the talk show on Friday evening Jinek when asked how the Ladies of Soul are handling the situation. “We’ve only seen her once in the past six weeks. People think ‘oh, you’re friends, you see each other every day’, but we only spoke once.”

“She is not allowed to talk about the case because everything can be misinterpreted. We hope that more will come out,” said Edsilia. “In the end she’s a friend and you can’t just drop her after an incident where we don’t know what exactly happened.”

Ziggo Dome concerts

Although Glennis can remain a member of the Ladies of Soul for the time being, it is unclear whether she will be there in September during the Ziggo Dome concerts of the singing group.

In a statement, the vocal formation said last week: “It is a very annoying combination of circumstances that should never have happened. Justice conducts a thorough investigation and we rely on that. It may take some time before the investigation is completed. Our concerts are scheduled for September 23 and 24 and will continue. Glennis has been a valued member of Ladies of Soul from day one and we hope she will be there by then.”

Incident

Glennis Grace was arrested on February 12 after she came to the supermarket for redress because her son was allegedly attacked there. He had lit an electronic cigarette in the store and had been approached about it. Glennis herself, her son and a family friend were arrested when they returned together and it turned into a scuffle. Two more people were later arrested on suspicion of assaulting supermarket employees.

There is a complaint against the singer, who was detained for three days. She is suspected of public assault and mistreatment in association and with premeditation, the police reported earlier.

Glennis first came back to the violent incident in which she became involved at the beginning of February for the first time last week. In a video on Instagram, she offered her “sincere apologies” and stated that she acted out of maternal instinct and emotion, when she should have counted to ten.
