Ex-BVB coach Terzić becomes TV expert at RTL

From the coaching bank to the coaching expert: the former coach of Borussia Dortmund, Edin Terzić, has accepted a new challenge and will now be seen on TV more often. As RTL announced, the 42-year-old is the new expert at the broadcaster from Cologne.
The ex-coach has the first assignment as part of the XXL sports day on September 7 alongside record national player Lothar Matthäus. He will then give its expertise against Northern Ireland before and after the international match of the DFB team.
Terzić himself emphasized that he was very much looking forward to the new task. He wanted to bring his point of view closer to the fans as a trainer. The national team offers “great stories – I would like to help make my part to make them tangible at RTL.”

Ivo Hrstic, sports department head at RTL News, praised Terzić as someone who stands for “modern football, clear analyzes and credible proximity to the game”. As an internationally experienced trainer, he has valuable perspectives, according to HRSTIC, which are intended to enrich the RTL sports offer. Accordingly, Edin Terzić “will give the broadcaster” New Impetus “with his eloquent nature and his professional expertise”.
Terzić was previously only used for Borussia Dortmund in his career. It was only when the scout and assistant coach of the U19 and the second team, as well as later as assistant coaches of the professionals, before he became an interim coach and then held the office of chief coach (December 2020 to June 2021). From July 2021, the cup winner was also a technical director at the club. From July 2022 to June 2024 he was again on the sidelines at BVB.
