Ed Sheeran’s first stop is on January 19th Asia tour in Dubai. From then on he will travel around the continent until around mid-March and give a total of 14 concerts. So that the singer doesn’t spend too long away from his home in England and also from his wife Cherry Seaborn and his children, he wants to fly to them every weekend.
“He’s very family oriented.”
His tour supporter Calum Scott told the Daily Star Will Column: “He returns home from Asia every week to see his children. He is a very family and friends oriented artist. The jet lag is incredible though. I don’t know how he copes with it – a lot of Meltonin!” So Ed Sheeran is probably not particularly well rested, but he also gets to see a lot of the childhood of his two daughters Lyra Antarctica and Jupiter when they are on tour. Besides, it produces a fairly large ecological footprint, we would say.
Even after his trip to Asia, the “A Team” singer remains busy. He performs at numerous festivals in the summer, including twin events Hurricane and Southside. The 32-year-old is expected to truly rest at the beginning of September after performing his (for now) last gig of the year in Cyprus.
