Ed Sheeran and Eminem perform “Lose Yourself” live (Video)

Sheeran brought Eminem on stage for two songs for his concert in Detroit.

Ed Sheeran is currently on his “Mathematics Tour” in North America. At his performance in Detroit on Saturday (July 15), the British singer-songwriter surprised the audience with a very special guest appearance. He interrupted the planned setlist to bring Eminem onto the stage at Ford Field Stadium for two surprise songs.

Together they performed Eminem’s songs “Lose Yourself” and “Stan”. Earlier on, the Brit took to the mic and said: “I was wondering if I could play you guys a cover of an Eminem song tonight… I think you guys know it. We rehearsed this today…we’ll see how it goes.” He then introduced the intro to “Lose Yourself” on guitar until Eminem took the stage in his hometown and joined in the tune. The audience went wild.

After the first live duet, Sheeran explained that Eminem initially only wanted to do one song live with him. “But I said you can’t come out in Detroit and just do one track together,” he added with a grin, then asked the crowd, “Do you want another song?” After the crowd said yes, the two performed “Stan.” to the best, which they sang together in 2022 at the induction ceremony of the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”.
