Economist Sophie van Gool calls on women to turn on their out-of-office message today, to show that they do not accept that they will work ‘for nothing’ for the rest of this year. “If you have been doing that work for ten years, and have therefore missed twelve months’ wages ten times – that becomes a kind of extortionate policy for those companies.”
