They definitely went too far this time! Eco-extremists have caused a traffic jam on the city freeway by sticking blockade, thus endangering the rescue of a seriously injured person!

An urgently needed special vehicle from the fire brigade could not get to a cyclist in time who had fallen under a cement mixer in an accident and was trapped. Now the woman is fighting for her life!

And instead of showing remorse, one of the eco-extremists sneered at the victim yesterday! “It’s a climate fight,” he tweeted boldly!

Police and public prosecutors assume that the insane eco-protest could result in criminal investigations.

According to initial findings, the previously unidentified woman was hit by a concrete mixer on her bike at around 8.20 a.m. on Bundesallee at Spichernstrasse. The victim fell and was run over by the heavy vehicle. The emergency call was received by the control center three minutes later.

While several ambulances and emergency doctors rushed to the site, a special rescue vehicle was deployed at the Charlottenburg-Nord station on Nikolaus-Groß-Weg to lift the truck.

At the same time, dramatic scenes took place at the scene of the accident – the truck driver (64) who rushed to help was seriously injured by a passer-by with a knife for reasons that are still unknown.

What the rescuers had no idea – they had to do without technical assistance. Because when the rescue vehicle drove from its location onto the A 100, it was stuck in a traffic jam of eco-extremists on the Rudolf-Wissell-Bridge!

At this point, two people had been blocking the Autobahn at Messedamm Süd for an hour and had stuck themselves to the gantry. The Autobahn became a dead end! Fire department spokesman Rolf Erbe (62): “The rescue was delayed as a result.”

“Every minute mattered”

Due to the cyclist’s life-threatening injuries, the on-site emergency doctor decided not to wait for the rescue vehicle. “Every minute counted,” said one rescuer. Exactly how the woman was freed was not disclosed by the authorities for reasons of investigative tactics. The concrete mixer was probably lifted briefly to free the woman.

The injured cyclist was taken to hospital and is fighting for her life in intensive care. The truck driver also had to go to a clinic, but his life should not be in danger. A search is underway for the stabber, whom witnesses were able to describe.

The judiciary must clarify guilt

“By now you should say goodbye to the fairy tale of harmless protest,” says GdP spokesman Benjamin Jendro. He emphasizes: “Anyone who blocks traffic routes risks and impedes the ability of internal security to act and also consciously accepts that people in need have to wait longer for help from the police and fire brigade.”

CDU interior expert Frank Balzer (57): “For weeks, the fire brigade has had to take detours because roads are blocked. The judiciary must begin to see the criminal relevance of these actions.” So far, the verdicts have been too mild.

The Berlin FDP is now even demanding a central platform that can be used to file claims for damages in connection with the crazy climate protests.

The climate troop “Last Generation” announced on Monday that they were dismayed and could not rule out that the rescue vehicle’s delay was due to a traffic jam they had caused…

But there was also another, unbelievable voice: The radical climate extremist Tadzio Müller wrote on Twitter about the incident: “Shit, but don’t be intimidated. It’s a climate fight, not a climate cuddle, & shit happens.”

Berlin’s Senator for the Interior, Iris Spranger (SPD), finds such statements unbearable: “There is no justification for endangering the lives of others.”

And Berlin’s governor Franziska Giffey (44, SPD) demands: “It is now the task of the police and the courts to clarify to what extent the activists are to blame for the fact that the accident victim could not be helped more quickly.”

Such a special vehicle was stuck in the blocker traffic jam

The rescuers urgently needed this rescue vehicle (designation RW 3) on Monday on Bundesallee to free the trapped cyclist. But because of the air-conditioning stickers, he spent precious minutes stuck in traffic.

Two of these vehicles are stationed in Berlin, in Charlottenburg-Nord and in Marzahn. They are designed for special technical assistance. If the control center radios, the RW-3 crews move out together with a crane truck.

The colossus has room for a driver and four emergency workers, 410 hp make the RW 3 a real powerhouse. Two special winch systems and an LED light mast are part of the equipment.
