ECDC has 232 cases of acute hepatitis in Europe: 12 cases have already been detected in Belgium

The number of cases of acute hepatitis of unknown origin in children up to 16 years of age continues to increase in Europe. By Friday, May 13, 232 cases had been reported in fourteen countries of the European Economic Area, of which 229 as probable and three as epidemiologically linked. This is stated by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on its website on Friday.
