ECCO is pleased to announce the presentation of the new Fall/Winter 2026 collection on the occasion of Pitti Uomo 109 – a project that celebrates nature as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and innovation.
Inspired by the concept of rewilding, the collection explores the connection between humans and the environment by reinterpreting textures, colors and shapes of the natural world with a contemporary and responsible approach.
The men’s collection draws inspiration from the winter landscapes of the Arctic and Greenland and embodies a sophisticated balance of comfort and performance. The color palette includes dark brown with accents of purple, camel and a surprising teal to capture the changing nuances of nature.
“We chose tonal variations that reflect the ever-changing shades of nature,” explains Nhallely Marie Gustafsson, designer at ECCO.
The FW26 collection represents the essence of the brand: a rediscovery of one’s identity through nature, much more than a mere reinterpretation. Remix materials, embossed leather processing and innovative finishes give life to models that combine a casual yet sophisticated style while still remaining true to ECCO’s philosophy. The women’s line draws inspiration from the creative universe of Danish artist Mie Olise Kjærgaard, known for her dynamic brushstrokes and her ability to transform youth and femininity into acts of artistic rebellion. The color palettes – mauve, chili red and taupe, enlivened by pink accents – elegantly interpret the duality of energy and delicacy and are suitable for both casual and sophisticated looks.
This season also marks the return of iconic ECCO models in the men’s collection. These include the Walker 3.0, a classic from the house that is now returning in a modern form – with soft lines, a relaxed silhouette and premium leather in vintage brown tones. “In uncertain times, styles that evoke positive memories of the past resonate particularly strongly,” comments Felix Zahn, Category Director Men’s Collection at ECCO.
The legendary sneaker icon JOKE is reinterpreted with new leather treatments and combines tradition and modernity in a timeless design.
In 2026, ECCO will also celebrate 20 years of ECCO RECEPTOR® technology with the launch of the new RECEPTOR XP (Xtreme Performance) – a sneaker that incorporates elements of the outdoor universe and reinvents ’90s styles for a modern, dynamic audience.
Pitti Uomo will also provide the stage for the exclusive preview of the limited edition collection ECCO.Kollektive – a project that combines craftsmanship, innovation and contemporary design, bringing together ECCO’s expertise in leather processing with the creative vision of international designers.
The collection is created in collaboration with British designer Craig Green and Japanese brand White Mountaineering and embodies ECCO’s claim to research and avant-garde design.
