EBI regime becomes stricter

The regime in the Extra Secure Institution in Vught must be stricter for those detainees who are there because of life-threatening continued criminal acts or serious organized crime. This is what Minister Weerwind for Legal Protection writes, also on behalf of Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius of Justice and Security, in a letter to the House of Representatives today. With the new rules, the minister wants to prevent detainees in the EBI from misusing their contacts with the outside world to act criminally.
